Managing cases of mastitis that aren’t bad enough that the cow is sick.
Mastitis is the most common reason that cows are treated with antibiotics. Treating can be costly beyond the price of the mastitis tube, like the cost of holding milk out of the tank. This seminar will focus on making decisions like if and when to treat and when and if to culture. This seminar is organized with an objective of sharing knowledge amongst dairy farmers. Everyone should feel free to ask questions, share ideas, and to participate in the discussion. Dinner will be provided.
